Tricks for making your WKZE webcast sound great in Windows Media!
Go to View, Enhancements, Show Enhancements. Now you will see many features at the bottom left of Media Player. Scroll through them using the little arrows.
Try the Graphic Equalizer...it can make a huge difference. Use it to create a "modified smile" pattern, by having it start low at the left, rise as it moves right, and the go low again in the middle, rising at the 2/3 mark, and the lowering at the far right.
Click on the arrows until you hit the SRS Wow Effect. Turn it on, and the turn the Wow effect itself off by moving the slider all the way to the left. But move the slider of the TruBass effect to 30 or 40% and see what that sounds like.
Scroll through the arrows again until you find the Quiet Mode feature. Turn it on and select the "little difference" setting and see what that does. This is the single biggest improvement you can make.
By playing around with Windows Media Player, you can make WKZE's web stream sound virtually like a quality radio feed. After all, it's all about the music!
