The Sampler Special with Sean Hackett, Saturdays 11 pm-12 am
The Sampler Special plays the original songs that were sampled for your favorite rap, dance and pop hits. Ever wonder where Dr. Dre found that hook? We play that song, along with a little of the song that sampled it. Join us as we take a deep dive on some rare, funky hits!

Noises From The Valley with Darren DeVivo, Fridays 7-11 pm
Legendary DJ Darren DeVivo comes to WKZE each and every Friday night. Sharing unparalleled knowledge of music, especially The Beatles, Darren brings you 4 hours of his best picks.

DJ Ethical Drift’s House Music Radio, Fridays 11 pm-1 am
The Hudson Valley’s finest house selector, DJ Ethical Drift, coming to you weekly from various undisclosed locations to broadcast the sound of the underground across the airwaves. Ethical Drift weaves together the sonic textures of lo-fi Indie Rock, soulful Deep House, and sophisticated Acid Jazz, forming a sound that is distinctly New York. With the release of his first project, a plunderphonics-coded mixtape, on the seminal Future Funk label, Coraspect Records, followed by a continuous stream of independent digital singles and EPs, his live DJ sets blossomed into expansive, genre-bending musical journeys.

Covered in Dead with Denise Parent, Mondays 7-9 pm
Covered in Dead is a two-hour program that celebrates The Grateful Dead.  Hosted by Denise Parent, a local touring musician who’s been singing and playing the music of the Grateful Dead for over thirty years. Each week she takes us on a trip through the extensive catalog of songs the Dead covered, and Dead songs covered by other artists. Nighthawks with Tryst Noir, Wednesdays 7-9 pm
Nighthawks is music for the creatures of the night. A dark, seductive escape where the familiar collides with the unexpected. Curated by Tryst aka Tryst La Noir, the night drifts through 70s/80s/90s rock, darkwave, trip hop, alternative, and obscure haunted blues from the 30s and 40s. Plus everything in between! Tryst’s own music carries shades of blues, grunge, psychedelic, post-punk, and trip hop. Described as hypnotic, cinematic, and raw.

Dawn Patrol: Saturdays 6-7 am
A show for all the early morning weekend warriors. Songs to start your Saturday mornings on a positive note.

Garden Show and Home with Sally Spillane: Sundays 8-9 am
Sally is always learning, sharing and having a good time discovering the bounties of our great region, with fantastic interviews and amazing insight. Also available as on our audio archive page.

Bluegrass Review with Phil Nusbaum: Saturdays 7-8 am
The Bluegrass Review is “Up to date and down to earth”, because Phil plays Bluegrass classics as well as the current wave, and includes produced segments and in-depth interviews, adding the insiders’ point of view to the bluegrass experience.
